Meet the Doctors

Dr Seth Prochaska has been with our practice since 2017 and sees patients in McPherson, Hillsboro, and Inman each week. He enjoys life in Mac with his wife Marianne and their first daughter was born in 2024. He grew up on a farm near Minneapolis, KS, where he learned the value of doing quality work with your hands and learned to appreciate the beauty in small-town life.

Dr Seth completed his bachelor’s degree at Sterling College and was president of his dental class at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr Seth values the opportunity to customize dental treatment to each patient, from routine fillings to complex treatment plans. He loves dentistry because it’s a field that focuses on improving health, function and smiles every day. He is a member of the American and Kansas Dental Associations and has pursued advanced training in dental surgery and implant placement.

In their spare time, the Prochaskas enjoy family time, creating music, playing fetch with their labradors, raising ducks, and home remodeling.

Dr. Alayna Kucera is a proud McPherson native, born and raised right here in the community she now serves. After graduating from McPherson High School, she attended Bethel College, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in Natural Science and Psychology. During her time at Bethel, Dr. Kucera was a student leader in student government, played on the women’s soccer team, and performed in the college’s steel drum band.

She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry. She is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from UMKC, with plans to graduate in December 2025.

Dr. Kucera is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate dental care and enjoys building meaningful relationships with her patients. She values the opportunity to care for individuals and families in the community where she grew up.

She and her husband, Thomas, were married in 2023. In her free time, Dr. Kucera enjoys exercise, running, and reading. Together, they love hiking, traveling, and trying new restaurants. They share their home with their dog, Theo, who often joins them on their outdoor adventures.
